CANCER IN A BOTTLE?

…….. drinking… a wake up call

We know all the bad stuff ….. and we do it anyway.  But did you know this bit?  It’s been found by scientific research that it also is highly likely to cause Colorectal (bowel) cancer, for long term drinkers.
‘The Australian’ 27/1/26  page 7, article by Penny Timms, senior health reporter, discusses U.S. American cancer society journal CANCER’s findings.
People with a lifetime intake above recommended levels, had a 25% higher risk of developing bowel cancer and a 95% higher risk of developing rectal cancer, when compared to light drinkers.

However, researchers found quitting drinking could help to lower those risks.

Current drinkers with an average lifetime alcohol intake of 14 or more drinks per week, compared with those drinking one drink or less per week,  had a higher risk of colorectal and especially rectal cancer.
These figures are emerging now,  as more people under the age of 50 getting cancer, particularly in Australia, are on the rise.
If you’re thinking of quitting drinking and lowering the odds in Australia, where bowel cancer is the fourth most common type of newly diagnosed cancer and the second deadliest (according to Bowel Cancer Australia), you can get help.
Stop drinking in one session of hypnotherapy.
